Announcement: Important change in our assortment: My Podologie is stopping the distribution of Poderm products!
Dear podiatrists,
We would like to inform you of a difficult decision we have made at My Podologie.
As you know, we were the only podiatry distributor to offer you all Poderm brand products from the very beginning. Indeed, we have contributed significantly to the development and introduction of these products among podiatrists.
It is therefore with a mixture of nostalgia and regret that we send you this press release.
As of February 1, 2024, We will cease distribution of Poderm brand products . This decision is the result of the significant increase in prices imposed by the manufacturer, a measure that we find difficult to sustain.
Despite numerous negotiations that have lasted for more than 3 months, the new commercial management of the Poderm laboratory has preferred to draw a line under more than 6 years of relationships and partnerships.
Indeed, the podiatry market is no longer significant enough, and the new challenges are being oriented toward pharmacies! Once again, the profits of a commercial company have been the reason for chiropodists and podiatrists.
Moreover, although the law prohibits a manufacturer from imposing its selling price, many suppliers still do so and if you do not respect it, your purchase price is increased to force you to do so.
My Podologie can no longer condone such actions. It is no longer acceptable to use French podiatrists to this extent to launch a product and gain recognition, only to turn your back on them once the business is well established and established in pharmacies! The new excessive pricing policy implemented by the Poderm laboratory is the perfect illustration of this.
We understand the impact this may have on your practice and recognize the importance of protecting podiatrists' purchasing power. As a company dedicated to your success, we have made this decision after careful consideration to maintain the quality of our services while preserving your access to essential products at the best price.
We will continue to offer Poderm products until our stock runs out. Once we sell out, you will no longer be able to purchase these products on our website, but we will soon be offering an alternative range.
We will continue to seek partnerships with manufacturers who share our values and offer quality solutions at reasonable prices.
