Kinesiology Tape - Urgo

URGO Kinesiology Tape is an adhesive elastic tape that provides dynamic muscle support and accompanies movement without limiting joint mobility.

This band is breathable and water-resistant for long-lasting wear for up to 3 days . It is suitable for anyone over 16 years old who is likely to do physical activity or exertion (sport, standing or sitting work, construction work, moving, etc.).

Available in two colours, Urgo Kinesiology Tape comes with a instructions with step-by-step installation technique on 6 zones. Installation videos are also available by scanning the QR code on the strip box.

Areas affected: knee (patella), ankle (Achilles tendon), shoulder (subacromial impingement), elbow (epicondylitis or tennis elbow), neck (trapezius), lower back.

Tips before use:

• Clean and dry the skin. Make sure your skin has not been treated with oily creams or lotions and that it is not particularly hairy. Adhesion is reduced in cases of heavy hairiness.
• Use a pair of clean and disinfected scissors before cutting the strips. Cut the corners of the strip before installation to round off its ends, this allows for a better hold.

Applications:

• Do not hesitate to ask a loved one for help with applying the strips.
• The tape is not repositionable once applied.
• When taking a shower it is not necessary to remove the strip.
• Remove only part of the paper to stick the strip and then remove the rest. If you touch the sticky part of the strip, it will no longer stick.
• Apply gently to avoid feelings of discomfort or tightness. Do not apply too much tension and do not apply in a circular motion to avoid a tourniquet effect.
• Smooth the strips carefully when installing to avoid creases forming.

Contraindications:

URGO Kinesiology Tape is contraindicated:

• In case of sprain
• For fixing and maintaining wet equipment and probes (hematology, resuscitation, incubators)

Precautions for use:

• Do not use the strip on a clean or infected wound.
• Do not use in case of joint instability
• If you have a history of skin allergies, apply a piece of strip to your skin for a few hours before use.
• If irritation, rash or redness occurs, discontinue use of strips
• Consult your doctor if in doubt.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children
• Do not keep near a heat source or in the light
• Single-use strip. Do not reuse a strip that has already been used.
• If you are pregnant, consult your doctor before using the strip.

Storage condition : Relative humidity less than 80% in a cool, dry, well-ventilated and clean environment
